Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international humanitarian aid organization that provides assistance in more than 70 countries to populations in distress, to victims of natural or manmade disasters and to victims of armed conflicts, without discrimination and irrespective of origin, religion, creed or political affiliation.
MSF is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Internal Communication Intern to join our Learning and Development (L&D) unit. In this role, you will play a key part in crafting and executing internal communication strategies to give more visibility to our learning offer.
Support the organization of the “LnD day” in headquarters by preparing the program, communicating about the program, managing registrations, arranging the logistic support (booking rooms, ensuring availability of the material needed), communicating with the facilitators
In collaboration with the members of the LnD unit, craft clear and consistent messaging regarding L&D programs and initiatives, ensuring understanding among managers and learners. Prepare key LnD reports like the annual report to increase the visibility of the unit
Support the development of a comprehensive communications plan utilizing various channels (email, intranet, social media, newsletters, posters, webinars) to engage our internal audience
In collaboration with Information and Knowledge management officer of the different departments, identify and segment target audiences within the organization, adapting communication to their unique needs and preferences
Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all communication materials, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities
Maintain close alignment with the internal communications unit's strategy and communication plan
Additional tasks may request some flexibility depending on the agenda and the workload of the support team
A master’s degree in communications or a related field
Strong communication, writing, and content creation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools
Strong organizational skills
French and English required

Contract type: CIP* contract – Part-time (60%)
* More specifically, this is a work immersion agreement (CIP) that will enable the candidate to receive an allowance. The convention d'immersion professionnelle (CIP) is a work placement agreement. It is concluded on a voluntary basis between the candidate and MSF. Its aim is to enable the candidate to acquire knowledge and skills while working for an employer. The idea is to train and learn in a practical way by being directly ‘in the field’.
Contract duration: 6 months
