The IPPF EN Regional Office is recruiting an INTERN – Advocacy, From Mid-January - Mid July 2024 (CIP internship), FULL TIME PAID INTERNSHIP (€1300/ month)

We are seeking an energetic quick learner to become our new intern and support to the effective implementation of the overall IPPF EN advocacy engagement with the European Union (EU) aimed at ensuring a strong focus on gender equality and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), in its policies and funding, both for within the EU and in its international cooperation and external action.
Among other things, your responsibilities will include: monitoring the inclusion of gender equality and SRHR in EU institutions work, monitoring the EU policy developments focusing on EU external action and funding, participating in relevant meetings and coalitions, supporting the development of advocacy tools and resources.
Candidates should have an academic knowledge of EU institutions and good understanding (including academic) of EU policies, in particular gender equality, human rights, health, international cooperation policies. They will have also an interest and/or (volunteer) experience in advocacy as well as an interest in SRHR work, human rights and development.
We particularly welcome applications from people who represent communities who face exclusion and/or particular difficulty accessing their sexual and reproductive rights.
