Health and Environment Alliance is looking for a Senior Communications Officer

As HEAL continues to grow and expand its activities, we are excited to welcome a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Communications Officer to our Brussels-based team.

As our new Senior Communications Officer, you’ll join the Communications team where you’ll contribute to developing communications plans on specific advocacy files on climate and energy, air quality, chemicals and pesticides, and coordinate their execution. You’ll be responsible for leading HEAL’s digital media communication activities, which include strategically managing HEAL’s website and social media channels. Your responsibilities will also include creating high-quality content for online and offline channels, supporting public speaking engagements, and helping to foster a continuous learning environment at HEAL.

Requirements

Are you HEAL’s new Senior Communications Officer?

We need someone who:

  • … is passionate about HEAL’s mission and ensuring we can lead healthy lives on a healthy planet

  • … has at least 5 years of experience in a digital communications role, preferably in the not-for-profit sector

  • … possesses excellent attention to detail, organisational, and planning skills, with strong project-management abilities

  • … has native-level English writing skills, with the ability to convey information compellingly and concisely and to re-package complex or technical content in an accessible format
