The Goethe-Institut sustainably connects people around the globe in a lively cultural and educational network. With our programmes we promote intercultural dialogue, cultural participation and strengthen the development of civil society structures. is the largest European cultural mobility scheme. It provides mobility grants to artists and cultural professionals in all 40 Creative Europe countries. For a period of 3 years (2022-2025), 7.000 artists and cultural professionals will receive a mobility grant.
It is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Goethe-Institut.
Be part of this fascinating endeavour to promote the internationalisation of the creative and cultural sector in Europe!
Assisting the Grant team with implementation of the whole grant circle of the mobility scheme: notification, preparation of contract, monitoring, reviewing of reports from artists and cultural professionals;
Support with organisation of online information sessions for potential and selected applications (invitation, facilitation of the chat, etc).
Support with the creation of toolkits and info-sheets for grantees on various topics.
Support with the organisation of events (internal and external)
Preparation of invitation, mapping of participants
Logistics
Support to the administrative work related to the day-to-day running of the project (reporting; follow-up with invoices and payments, etc);
Support with general office management.
Participation and note taking in Culture Moves Europe internal and external meetings;
Support in database maintenance.
Positive ‘can-do’ attitude and creative problem-solver;
Good organisational skills and eye for details;
Good command of written and spoken English; German and other foreign language skills would be an advantage;
Good command of Microsoft Suite;
Curious to work in team with people from different professional and cultural backgrounds;
Interest in developing skills in European projects in the field of culture
Preferably but not mandatory undergraduate degree / University

The Goethe-Institut offers its staff a varied and meaningful job in a modern office building in the heart of Brussels, characterised by openness, curiosity and diversity. Furthermore, permanent employees of the Goethe-Institut receive supplementary hospital insurance to cover them in the event of damage and benefit from some special features of Belgian labour law, such as a 75% reimbursement of travel costs when using public transport, or Km money for bicycle kilometres and automatic wage indexation. The Goethe-Institut Brussels offers a 6-month traineeship contract (Convention d’Immersion Professionelle), with a monthly salary of 1.000€.
