ReNew2030 is a global coalition of regional climate foundations and transnational organisations – housed at and coordinated by the ECF – that fund a diverse group of implementation partners across the globe. ReNew2030’s goal is to scale global wind and solar capacity 5x by 2030 to keep the world on track for 1.5°C of warming, while improving energy security, creating new jobs and delivering health, climate and economic benefits.
This role offers a dynamic blend of administrative, financial, and event coordination support, providing crucial operational support to ensure smooth and efficient programme management and planning processes across the team. As an administrative support professional, you will be responsible for handling all operational tasks, including managing daily office functions, coordinating reporting, scheduling and supporting events logistics. The ideal candidate has 3.5–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills and attention to detail. A proactive, team-oriented attitude and financial acumen are essential.
Support the management of the programme through maintaining programme records, managing correspondence with partners and funders, ensuring security protocols are being followed, managing risk register for the team.
Support ReNew2030’s contract management from signing donor contracts to complying with reporting requirements
Coordinate input from ReNew2030 implementing partners, and manage partner contributions, including coordinating the submission of proposals and reports.
Manage budget tracking, expense reconciliation, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate project funding records.
Coordinate with the Finance and Grants Hub teams to ensure compliance with both external and internal requirements.
Process invoices and the drafting of contracts, collaborating with all relevant teams.
Coordinate funder and partner meetings and events, managing all aspects including scheduling, logistics coordination, agenda preparation, and notetaking.
Make travel arrangements and other necessary preparations, ensuring seamless event execution and support for participants.
3.5 to 5 years’ experience in administration or project/program controlling, preferably in philanthropy or civil society.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, business administration, or another relevant area.
Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to follow through on tasks and ensure projects are completed efficiently.
Proactive and enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently while exercising discretion.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Proficiency with numbers and financial analysis, able to work with data accurately and confidently.
Computer literate with proficiency in the MS Office suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
