EURACTIV is an independent pan-European media network specializing in EU policies. Our primary goal is to ignite and facilitate policy debates among stakeholders, including government, business, and civil society. We provide comprehensive coverage of policy processes leading up to decisions, presenting the issues in a neutral manner without taking sides.

The EURACTIV Network offers localized EU policy news in 13 languages. Through collaboration with our media partners, we reach over 1.7 million users across Europe and beyond every month. With 2.5 million page views and over 1 million unique readers per month, EURACTIV is a leading online media platform specializing in EU policy. We strive to engage 80% of our readers in their own language.

We are currently looking for a EU Affairs Assistant (Premium) to contribute to the development of our subscription products. The perfect candidate for this role is responsible, can apply logic to multiple scenarios, and is a good communicator.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

General:

  • Develop an understanding of our subscription products and associated business and IT processes/workflows

  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly data process tasks and create data reports using Google Suite

  • Update and maintain workflow documentation

  • Recommend changes to subscription products based on user feedback and data reports

  • Support implementation of marketing campaigns across digital channels

  • Contribute creative ideas to grow the quality and reach of our digital efforts and support the growth of our premium audience in Brussels and in Europe

Additional (focus on IT transitions)

  • Support all necessary integration and acceptance testing to ensure the smooth delivery of new software suite into operational use

  • Facilitate workshops with impacted teams to understand requirements/responsibilities for supporting and managing new IT services once operational

PROFILE

  • You enjoy working with data and taking data-driven decisions seems natural to you

  • You have some knowledge of EU institutions, policymaking and media.

  • You’re hard-working, a team-player, based in Brussels or willing to relocate.

  • You’re fluent in English (written and spoken) and at least one other European language.

  • Experience with Google Suite (specifically Google Sheets and Data Studio is a plus)

Desirable: experience with DMP’s, Subscription management softwares (Zephr, Piano) and CRM softwares (Salesforce)

EURACTIV Offers:
